When 17 out of 18 children from the same class at Maybrook Elementary School mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance. From videos installed in the neighborhood, they can see that the children left of their own accord, without anyone accompanying them.Archer Graff (Josh Brolin) investigates, beginning with questioning the teacher (Julia Garner) of the classroom. He soon discovers something very sinister is behind all of the strange happenings.
