Mia (Tiffany Haddish) and Mel (Rose Byrne) are longtime best friends who've done a lot of crazy things over the years. Today, they have their own cosmetics and beauty company, called Mia & Mel, and Mia thinks things are going great.However, when they discover they're almost $500,000 in debt, they meet with cosmetics industry titan Claire Luna (Salma Hayek), who tells them she'll invest $1.7 million in their company, if they make a few changes. They're initially thrilled, until they discover she's stealing their ideas. The two women set out for revenge and to get their company back.
